Located on the mainland side of the Byfjord along the western coast of Norway, it is the country&#8217;s second-largest city. Population: 270,000. Bergen is especially known for the Bryggen wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These 60 buildings are an important example of Hanseatic architecture. <\/p>\n<p>The view shown here is from Fl\u00f8yberg, one of the seven mountains surrounding the city.
